PATHOS
PATHOS

I Met A Rose

Tiptoeing down the only path
through a flower garden
made for the giants this world hath
but left without a warden,
when what should I see but a great rose,
bending over the path, with only a single flower,
and a sweet euphoric scent met my nose,
so I didn't see her straighten and tower.
