CTHULHU 2000?: The Mythos party is preparing early for the 2000
elections when the Stars Are Right for victory! Previous frontrunner
Cthulhu has already brought out his campaign T-Shirt and hopes to
again dominate the field. We will be hosting a party nominating
convention on AOL this month to discuss possible candidates and
platforms for the year 2000 on Dec. 15th at 10pm est. To join the debate
go to keyword Gaming and look for information on conferences under the
Game Companies item.

sure, don't forget we have Gift Certificates of Insanity available.

CHAOSIUM 1999: With 1998 almost over we've survived another year in
the tumultuous gaming industry. The year saw many changes and next may
see many more, but we're committed to continue to bring out quality

profitable holiday season, and wish the best for you and yours
this coming holiday season as well.

** RECENT RELEASES **

For Call of Cthulhu: Before the Fall - 2377, $11.95

Four dangerous adventures concerning the quaint little hamlet of
Innsmouth, Massachusetts, in whose harbor the fish always seem to bite
unusually well. Now keepers have new situations for investigators to
bite on as well. Tone and atmosphere are more significant in these
adventures than quick shocks and visible gore. Useful as stand-alone
adventures, or for insertion into campaigns as changes of pace. ISBN
1-56882-135-2.

** UPCOMING CHAOSIUM RELEASES **

A product listed for a month is expected to begin shipping in that
month. It typically appears in US stores within two weeks of shipping,
and overseas at least a week after that.

DECEMBER:

(Should be in right around Christmas)

>From Green Knight: Arthur: The Bear of Britain - GK6202, $14.95

by Edward Franklin. A classic, epic, and starkly-realistic work of
fiction following Athur on his campaigns across Britain agains the
Picts and Saxons, culminating in the Battle of Badon Hill. Yet the
ill-fated love triangle of Arthur, Gwenhyvar, and Mordred threatens
the last hope the Britons have to unite their people and stave off
the coming Dark Ages.

(and, stuck at the printer still, sigh)

For Call of Cthulhu Fiction: The Ithaqua Cycle - 6021, $12.95

This chilling cycle book includes thirteen tales related to Ithaqua,
the Wind-Walker, collected together for the first time. Ithaqua was
created by August Derleth and is based upon the terrible winter
spirits, or Wendigo, of Native North American mythology. Includes
stories by August Derleth, Brian Lumley, Algernon Blackwood, Joseph
Payne Brennan, and others. A perfect book for those cold winter
nights. Edited by Robert Price. ISBN 1-56882-124-7.

For Call of Cthulhu Fiction: Nightmare's Disciple - 6018, $14.95

Our first full-length Cthulhu Mythos novel contains a wealth of terror
and Lovecraftian flavor. By Joseph Pulver, Sr., this story tells the
tale of an insane cultist of the Mythos bent on freeing a monstrous
goddess from her imprisonment beyond the stars. Opposing him is a
detective searching for a twisted serial killer and a pair of
horror-store owners with a deep interest in music and the occult. The
story is set in the modern day, in a world where perhaps
H. P. Lovecraft is more prophetic than anyone dares believe. For
mature readers only. 416 pages. ISBN 1-56882-118-2.

JANUARY:

For Call of Cthulhu Fiction: Tales Out of Innsmouth - 6024, $12.95

A shadow hangs over Innsmouth, home of the mysterious deep ones, and
the secretive Esoteric Order of Dagon. An air of mystery and fear
looms... waiting. Now you can return to Innsmouth in this second
collection of short stories set in that decadent town. Visit the
undersea city of Y'ha-nthlei and discover the secrets of Father Dagon
in this collection of stories by Peter Cannon, C.J. Henderson,
H.P. Lovecraft, Brian McNaughton, Franklyn Searight, and more. Two
stories are reprints, while the rest are all new tales of terror!

For Call of Cthulhu: The Creature Companion - 2375, $21.95

We are not alone. The universe teems with life. We name them Outer
Gods, Elder Gods, Great Old Ones, Avatars, Sevitor Races, Independent
Races, and they are all either malevolent or uncaring. This monstrous
collection is a compendium of creatures, drawn together from fiction
spanning over seventy years and from over ten years of Call of Cthulhu
scenarios. Learn the secrets of the monsters of the mythos.  Parts of
this book were originally published as Ye Booke of Monstres I and
II. This new volume also contains: several new creatures; the field
notes of Sir Hansen Poplan; and four color plates featuring Azathoth's
court, Cthulhu, the Haunter of the Dark, and Shub-Niggurath. ISBN
1-56882-133-6.

FEBRUARY:

For Call of Cthulhu Fiction: The Book of Dyzan - 6027, $12.95

Non-fiction. A discussion of Blavatsky's famous book, the mysterious
Book of Dyzan, the heart of the secret books of Kie-Te, once known
only to Tibetan mystics. Includes lengthy quotes. Excerpts from the
Society for Psychical Research's 1885 report on the eye-opening
phenomena connected with the Theosophical Society. Editor Maroney's
biographical essay for Madame Blavatsky starts off the volume with a
fascinating portrait of an amazing woman. Mention of Dzyan in
H.P. Lovecraft's writing is made. ISBN 1-56882-114-X.
