I am the attorney for Halifax County, North Carolina and I have
received a copy of your recent e-mail regarding a 10 year old ticket in
Halifax County. Please be advised that you need to address your
concerns with the North Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles in
Raleigh, NC. Halifax County does not have any jurisdiction over motor
vehicle laws, citations issued by the NC Highway Patrol or DMV
Enforcement Officers, your concerns are with State officials, not
Halifax County officials.
You may wish to start your inquiry by contacting the office of the
Clerk of Superior Court at 252-583-5061. If you paid your ticket off it
would have been handled throught that office.
Please refrain from contacting employees or Halifax County regarding
