PATHOS
PATHOS
by Conrad Hubbard

Sweet are the days I remember,
blessed with the touch of your smile.
Are they all gone, as I remember,
or might they return for a while?
Do you see me as I was then,
or have I just lost the years
of times that could have been?
Past a thousand little fears,
that kept me away from you,
can I draw your eyes once again,
or put my arms around you,
or was that a moment that has been,
never to happen ever again?
