PATHOS
PATHOS

A Crimson Net

A crimson net slides through the water,
above the sun's out with her daughter,
and a tiny invader, a wooden boat
with a fisherman and his stinky coat,
pulls in his net of stolen food
leaving out the one of blood.
"That will teach you to take my fish," he yells,
but the innocent dolphin hears only death's bells.
