RE: Combi-Weapon
Is the "Combi-Weapon" Wargear Card available to Chaos forces? If so,
is it Rare or Uncommon? Thanx
Yes, at 50% extra. Rare as I recall (check the
FAQ on our web site).

In some of the Codex, some squads have a bolt
pistol and have the option to upgrade it to a bolt-gun (Example: Veteran
Chaos Marines can upgrade their bolt pistol to a bolt-gun for 3 points).
Now in the Wargear list it says that a bolt-gun is a "Special" weapon and
a model can only take one special weapon. The question is, if a Veteran
upgrades his bolt-pistol to a bolt-gun, can he also carry a special weapon
(such as a flamer)?
====> Here's how it works: If there is an upgrade
option in the troop listing, you may take it. If there is then a general
statement like "One model may carry a special weapon chosen from....."
then you can take that also. The two are seperate as they are not both
being chosen from the wargear list itself.
I have a couple of questions regarding the D-cannon.
First of all, will a d-cannon truly automatically hit when an Eldar farseer
uses the Guide power on it.
-------------> Nope, it only deviates once
Secondly, can you explain just what is meant by
the little flow chart explaining how to see if you hit when firing? Do
you roll the scatter directional die once, see if it gets the 'hit' result,
deviating if it does, and then roll a second time, that time being the
last time no matter what? Or do you not roll any more if you roll a hit,
but continue to roll and deviate until you roll a 'hit' no matter how many
times this takes?
------------> Roll both the scatter & 2D6
dice. If you score a hit leave the template where you nominated it. then
roll again w/ the same dice and if you score another hit, you blasted exactly
what you aimed for!
If a Chaos Dreadnought is equipped with a power
scourge and enters hand to hand combat frenzied, are the extra two attacks
gained from the power scourge doubled like normal attacks or not doubled
as in the case of having an extra weapon in your offhand?
----------------> The former, double your attacks
after the power scourge
If a psyker chaos sorceror is riding a disk of
Tzeentch is the line of sight of enemies targeting the figure done from
the actual height of the figure on the flyer base? Also, as a mounted figure,
is the diskrider rendered incapable of hiding in a fashion similar to bikeriders
and riders of Juggernauts and Steeds of Slaanesh--ie can only hide behind
objects actually big enough to entirely conceal them?
---------------> Yes on both questions
