NEW VERSIONS OF THE B5 AMBASSADORS THE FOCUS OF "SEVERED DREAMS" FOR THE BABYLON 5 COLLECTIBLE CARD GAME

(Tempe, Arizona) Precedence Entertainment announced today that "Severed Dreams", the next expansion for the Babylon 5 Collectible Card Game will be released in September. Featured in the set will be many new versions of the starting ambassadors, opening up whole new worlds of deck construction. B5 Product Manager Kevin Tewart states, "There are at least three new starting Delenn cards planned, including one that lets you search your deck for the cards necessary to play Delenn Transformed. Other new versions of Delenn give players fundamentally different options. For example, you can start the game with a larger hand of cards or with more influence. As a result every game will be different from the very first turn."

There will also be Captain Sheridan starting ambassadors, for those who want to start with Sheridan in play at the beginning of the game. Alternate versions of Londo and G'Kar with variant statistics and abilities are also included. Additionally, Severed Dreams will feature several heavy hitting replacement characters, such as Entil'zha Delenn, Ranger Lennier, Citizen G'Kar, and a hypothetical timeline version of Sinclair, called "Captain Sinclair". For players who enjoy representing the Opposing Factions in the B5 CCG, Severed Dreams includes high powered replacement versions of Prime Minister Refa, Councilor Na'Far, and Alyt Neroon. And, Tewart adds, "By popular demand, the Opposing Factions leaders will now get their very own assistants."

The Severed Dreams expansion will focus on the new challenges and threats faced by the characters following Babylon 5's break from the Earth Government, the threat-from-within presented by Nightwatch, and the mysterious disappearance of Babylon 4. The set will also examine potential futures and alternate histories possible for the crew of the space station. Alternate history cards will address such what-if questions as what might have happened had Sinclair remained aboard B5 as the station commander?

A boosters-only expansion, Severed Dreams will introduce a total of 150 new cards to the game, including three different autograph cards. Autographs planned are from actors Michael O'Hare (Jeffrey Sinclair), Bill Mumy (Lennier), and Marie Marshall (Dodger). Signed cards will be randomly inserted in packs at a ratio of one of each signed card per case. Booster packs will contain 8 cards and retail for $1.99.

ROBERT JORDAN'S BEST SELLING WHEEL OF TIME SERIES ENTERS THE FANTASY COLLECTIBLE CARD GAME ARENA

(Tempe, Arizona) Wheel of Time, Robert Jordan's epic fantasy literature series, is at last being adapted to a collectible card game with a scope as sweeping as the books themselves. Precedence Entertainment, producers of the internationally popular Babylon 5 Collectible Card Game, today announced their agreement with Robert Jordan to adapt his best selling series into a major fantasy CCG.

Wheel of Time, a series of eight novels so far, has steadily climbed to the pinnacle of the publishing world. The most recent release in the series, "The Path of Daggers" achieved the book trade's highest level of recognition as a New York Times #1 Best Seller. An estimated 8 million books in the series have been sold to date. Later this year, a high profile Wheel of Time computer game will debut from GT Interactive.

This magical series is set in a feudal world in which Rand Al Thor, the Dragon Reborn, rises in a quest to unite nations and overcome the reawakening forces of The Dark One. Rand's journey is aided by the Aes Sedai, a powerful sisterhood psychically gifted with the "One Power". His opposition includes The Forsaken, resurrected warriors who wield titanic might. The collectible card game design is based on Jordan's timeless themes of the Light, the Dark, and the Dragon, the powers omnipresent in the Wheel of Time. Players will represent opposing forces of Light and Darkness battling for control of "The Pattern", an eternal force akin to Fate or Destiny.

The Wheel of Time CCG will launch in October, with over 300 cards, each depicting a different character, location, event or other aspect of Jordan's epic vision. A cadre of world class fantasy artists have agreed to contribute painted art for the cards, including Darryl Sweet, who painted the covers of all of the Wheel of Time novels.

Starter Sets will contain a 50 card deck plus an eight card booster pack for $9.99. Booster packs will contain eight cards including five common, two uncommon, and one rare card, and will retail for $1.99. Precedence will also release two-player starter sets, attractively packaged to look like a hollowed out book, with two starter decks, and two booster packs for a suggested retail price of $19.99.

"Wheel of Time will bridge the gap between fantasy literature and fantasy gaming, introducing many new fans to the hobby who have never enjoyed CCG's before," said Precedence CEO Paul W. Brown III. "At the same time, Wheel of Time will be the most serious new offering avid fantasy gamers have seen in a long time. With this quality of art, story, and game play, we expect gamers to flock to it, even if they haven't read the book series yet."

PRECEDENCE ENTERTAINMENT ANNOUNCES TOMB RAIDER COLLECTIBLE CARD GAME

(Tempe, Arizona) Precedence Entertainment, producers of the Babylon 5 Collectible Card Game, today announced their agreement with Eidos Interactive to release a collectible card game based on the mega-hit electronic game franchise -- Tomb Raider.

The Tomb Raider CCG will address the current red hot market for fast playing games that can be enjoyed by children and adults ages 10 and up. The most recent release in the same category (Pokemon from Nintendo and Wizards of the Coast) has sold an estimated 400 million cards since January.

A film version of Tomb Raider, which to date has supported sales upwards of 15 million computer and console games across all platforms, is currently in development at Paramount. Industry buzz has actress Catherine Zeta-Jones (female lead in Entrapment and Mask of Zorro) slated for the role of Lara Croft, Tomb Raider's vivacious and deadly heroine.

The Tomb Raider Collectible Card Game supports a variety of challenging environments to explore and raid for treasure. Players can choose Lara or one of her opponents to face many different physical and mental challenges in this two-player game. Estimated playing time for a single game is 15-20 minutes. Special "save" cards allow a player to solidify gains and protect against losing progress when and if their character "dies" during game play. Precedence designers are working closely with Eidos to reveal characters and background material previously only glimpsed in the electronic game versions.

The Tomb Raider CCG is scheduled for August 1999 release, and will debut at GenCon in Milwaukee, Wisconsin August 6-8. Starter sets will include a 50 card deck and one eight card booster pack, and retail for $9.99. Individual boosters will contain eight cards for $1.99.

"We expect Lara Croft to run, jump, and shoot her way right into the top selling charts for collectible card games," stated Precedence Entertainment CEO Paul W. Brown III. "Tomb Raider is an entertainment phenomenon that will span from Playstation to the silver screen and all points in between. We are very pleased to be allied with such an exciting property."

Now scheduled for August release, the Psi Corps set will contain 150 new booster cards. Psi Corps starter decks will also contain 50 fixed commons and 10 randomly inserted uncommon and rare cards, and will retail for $9.99. " It will be the ultimate mind game, including such new features as Conspiracy Marks, which will introduce a whole new level of strategy into game play."

With the Psi Corps Expansion Set all of the aspects of the Psi Corps, and their impact upon the people of Babylon 5 are reflected. The "Get The Best Of Bester" contest will encourage fans to be a part of that world themselves.

"WAR WITHOUT END": BABYLON 5 COLLECTIBLE CARD GAME INTRODUCES ENTRY LEVEL TWO-PLAYER SET.

(Tempe, Arizona) Precedence Entertainment announced today details of the much anticipated "War Without End" two-player game set. Specifically designed as a streamlined, entry level gateway to the B5 Collectible Card Game, "War Without End" introduces a fixed universe of cards for head-to-head game play between opposing Shadow and Vorlon players.

Since the release of the B5 CCG, players and fans have sought a way to play the great ancient races that manipulate many of the behind-the-scenes events in the Babylon 5 space station. At the same time, players have been looking for an exceptionally strong two-player game scenario to compliment the already strong multi-player game play of the Babylon 5 CCG. Now both desires are being fully realized in a single landmark game set.

"War Without End" features two 60 card stand alone decks - one each for the Shadow player and the Vorlon player. The boxed set ships in September 1999 and will retail for $19.99.

In "War Without End" the Babylon 5 Collectible Card Game game rules are streamlined for faster, introductory play. Players compete to win favor or sow disruption among the younger races while raising tensions between the Shadows and Vorlons. Designer Dave Mitchell describes the game as "an epic conflict between two ancient races, where if the tensions become too high, all could be lost." In game terms, if tension is driven to seven, the Third Age begins, and the game will end. This mechanic adds an unpredictable element to the game that encourages players to use strategy and imagination.

Precedence Entertainment produces the Babylon 5 Collectible Card Game, the Fortune Teller Game, and publishes books in the IMMORTAL series. Precedence will debut a CCG based the smash-hit electronic game, Tomb Raider, in August, and a CCG based on Robert Jordon's best-selling Wheel of Time fantasy novel series in October of 1999. War Without End is designed by OSTA Productions.

PRECEDENCE ENTERTAINMENT LEADS LEGENDARY GENCON '99

(Milwaukee, Wisconsin) Precedence Entertainment joined other leading adventure games manufacturers in creating a record attendance weekend of games and events at the industry's most important consumer trade fair -- GENCON 99. Precedence events, celebrity guest appearances and new product debuts at GENCON were non-stop, so much so that the Precedence booth was continuously swamped by fans from the show's opening Thursday August 5th, until its close on Sunday, August 8th.

Leading the Precedence line-up was the worldwide debut of the Tomb Raider Collectible Card Game, starring Lara Croft. Equally exciting to many fans, were the at-show releases of the highly anticipated Psi Corps expansion for the Babylon 5 CCG (already sold-out in many locations world wide) and the red hot Role-Playing game IMMORTAL: Millennium. Precedence also hosted advance previews of its forthcoming title, Robert Jordan's The Wheel of Time, the breakout new CCG based on Robert Jordan's New York Times #1 best-selling series of fantasy novels. Throughout the show there were non-stop, standing room only demonstrations of all Precedence games including Tomb Raider, Babylon 5, Fortune Teller and Immortal, as well as nearly continuous celebrity guest appearances.

CEO Paul W. Brown III addressed an assembly of press and fans renewing Precedence's commitment to creating legendary games for customers of all ages, genders, and interests. Brown announced that the licensing contract between Precedence and Warner Brothers has been extended through 2001, clearing the way for new Babylon 5 Collectible Card Game expansion sets, including expansions based on the Crusade television series. Additionally, Brown announced that Precedence has reached an agreement with Canal+ to develop a Collectible Card Game based on the Terminator universe originally created by James Cameron and starring Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Actor Walter Koenig, famous for his roles as "Chekov" on Star Trek and "Alfred Bester" on Babylon 5, was on hand to inaugurate the launch of the B5 Psi Corps expansion set. Setting aside his prepared speech, Koenig spoke enthusiastically of Precedence's growing role in the entertainment industry. "Precedence is really an incredible company," Koenig stated. "Every person in the organization that I have dealt with, from top to bottom, really cares about what they are doing. I have been around the entertainment industry a long time and I don't sing many praises. Precedence is a great company."

Immortal: Millennium cover model, Playboy model and actress Claudia Christian also joined Precedence at the show, playing the starring role as "Shade" in the inaugural Immortal Live Action game alongside Immortal author/creator Ran Ackels and over 150 other Immortal role players. Regarding Immortal, Ms. Christian stated, "I am 100% behind Immortal and with me stands all of the former B5 cast that I am in contact with. Immortal is going to be seen far beyond its roots as a game. I am actively committed to seeing Immortal emerge with its own series on television someday, and I intend to portray "Shade" in the series when it happens. The Immortal storyline really is amazing. And mark my words, Immortal IS going to be a big deal both in print and in other media." Ms. Christian signed hundreds of copies of Immortal: Millennium for delighted fans. An additional 500 copies autographed by Claudia Christian will be distributed to fans via participating hobby retailers later in the month.

Psi Corps, the eagerly awaited expansion for the Babylon 5 Collectible Card Game debuted at GenCon, where booster packs quickly sold out well before the show's end. Koenig, who portrayed "Bester" in the series, and Robin Atkin Downes, who played the Psi Rebel "Byron" helped launch the expansion with tireless autograph sessions, joined by the always charming Julie Caitlin Brown (B5's Natoth.)

Tomb Raider, Precedence Entertainment's ultra hot new CCG debuted at GenCon, proving that a cute girl with a big gun can change the face of collectible card games. Over 500 fans were treated to Tomb Raider demos. The Tomb Raider CCG is expected to reach retail locations worldwide sometime in September.

The Wheel of Time CCG, based on Robert Jordan's best selling series of fantasy novels debuted for sneak previews at GenCon. Fans of the novels were delighted to learn that Precedence Entertainment is publishing games based on the beloved series of books and agreed, based on play of "beta test" copies of the game on hand for the show, that Precedence developers are well on track to capture the texture and wonder of Robert Jordan's world in the game's design. The Wheel of Time CCG will ship in October, with the possibility that a role playing game may also be released in early 2000.

Fans in search of even more news of "future events" were treated to readings from the Fortune Teller game which has been making waves in such non- traditional retail outlets as the Claire's Boutique stores found in malls throughout the US. While those readings are confidential, it is safe to say that participants were amazed by the game's accuracy and beauty.
