Malkavian
Blues

" ... I guess it's more than a little frustrating sometimes to see something so perfectly and have the gumption to actually do something about it, only to see your so called comrades look on with apathy and disapproval. I don't think they really understand me anymore. They obviously don't understand the world around them. Do they understand that I care about them and I'm only trying to help them? I'm clearly the only person they know who can grasp true logic.

Everything, no matter how abstract, can be isolated into cause and effect. Cause and effect is the basis of mathematics and scientific process. Thus everything can be assigned a numeric quantity. If you familiarize your self with how a system works, be it social relations, timed schedules, or the happenstance of random actions and eventual results, then you can formulate the equations that make up the world around you. Evaluate everything's numeric quantity and you unleash incredible powers of action and observation. I've tried explaining this to my friends over and over again, but they dismiss it so easily. They are all concerned with pride and the constant guesswork that is their decision making process. I'm afraid to even tell them that I am a prophet, that I'm merely acting out the will of an extremely intelligent and unknowable god. I have assigned him the value of X."

- From the Journals of Sean Miller, clan Malkavian.

Insanity is a pretty hard concept to truly grasp. If you could truly grasp it then you would be insane, and who would listen to you then?
