CHEESEMASTER GOUDAKKA
by Conrad Hubbard

Hailing from Clan Moulder, Cheesemaster Gouddaka is so feared that no scholar has ever braved his presence long enough to find out for sure if his name has one d and 2 k's or vice versa.

This special Packmaster is in all ways identical to a normal packmaster, but in addition to all other options can carry for a +15 points a portion of Warpcheese large enough to feed the entire unit of Giant Rats that he leads. Goudakka learned the secret of the creation of Rat Ogres long ago, and shares it with no one except perhaps the unfortunates facing him in battle who witness him feeding the strange glowing green cheese to his giant rat
compatriots.

Instead of taking his close combat attack, or movement phase, if close combat cannot be enjoined, Gouddaka can choose to feed his accompanying unit the Warpcheese. Each of the Giant Rats in his unit instantly transforms into, and fights as, a Rat Ogre. Each subsequent magic phase, you must roll a d6 for each altered rat and follow the following table:

1- The rat ogre goes berserk and charges the nearest opponent. No further rolls are made until that opponent/unit is dead, dead, dead. The rat ogre is treated as subject to frenzy for the rest of the game, but must use their own leadership for the duration. Cheesemaster Gouddaka will likely abandon the mad rats to their destructive tendencies.
2-4- the rat continues to fight as rat ogres
5- the rat ogre suddenly transforms back into a giant rat, however his sudden transformation causes all opponents to miss them the following turn as they attack the gigantic rat ogres bodies just as they shrink to small size.
6-the stress kills the individual rat ogre, however he explodes forth the nasty Warpcheese in a 2" radius. Any models in that area must roll a d6. On a 6 they are transformed into rat ogres in a fashion similar to the original unit and must follow the packmaster Cheesemaster Gouddaka. Naturally, Goudakka is immune to the explosion; after all, he is the cheesiest.

This article has been written in special deference to all those players out there in the continuing search for the "cheesiest" Skaven army they can possibly create for Games Workshop's Warhammer Fantasy Battle wargame. For more examples please see the newsgroup rec.games.miniatures.warhammer on a regular basis. The hordes of rats await!
